It's lost it front spoiler as many have from the era. Also, consistent with pre-83 AMG's, it appears to have BBS wheels. The coupe nose conversion wasn't cheap either.
I hope that some interior pictures come to surface. Maybe some pictures of the stereo or perhaps curtains. There is something about this SEL that sets it apart from the rest. This one was very expensive back when it was new.
Coupe-nosed sedans don't do anything for me, but that car looks to have great potential as previously noted. What I like most about it is that it looks VERY Euro.
this one is very cool. really like that c126 front.
I saw a SEL in AZ sometime ago with that same conversion it had orthopedic back seats of a couple so to me that was an upgrade.
I Still look for it once in while and can't find it. maybe it sold. was asking like 2500 for it.
for the conversion hood, head lights? front fender too?
The crossbar and bumper is different, too. Pretty costly if one did the conversion when these were new... you're pretty much buying a whole front clip off a SEC.
I will be up that way tomorrow evening. If anyone is really interested, I'll put in the 1-2 hours of time it will take me to go take a look at the car (assuming the seller is available or provides a location).
Send me an email. You can do that via this forum, right? If not, send an email or PM via benzworld. I know I get them.

Yes, this forum has power windows, pm's, mail and a VCR to boot! . I have no interest in this example but would be great to learn more about it.
